Why we made this decision

At Zwell Dental, we have always held ourselves to an exceptional standard of care. We use high-quality materials, excellent USA-based laboratories, and state-of-the-art technology, and we hire the best dentists and professionals we can find.

Dental insurance can be a wonderful benefit, but insurance companies are placing more and more restrictions on how patients can use it. Staying in network would have required us to compromise the time and materials we invest in your care. That would go against our values, and we weren't willing to do it.

We're grateful for your trust and look forward to caring for you and your family for years to come. If you have questions about your coverage, give us a call. We're happy to help.

Have Questions About Dental Insurance Benefits at Zwell Dental?

Check out these frequently asked questions, or call/text us at (978) 501-2222 to speak with our team.

Can I still see my dentists at Zwell?

Yes! We value our relationship with you and want to continue being your dental home. You may receive a letter from Delta Dental suggesting you find an in-network dentist. You don't have to. You can absolutely remain a patient at Zwell Dental and continue receiving care from the team you know and trust.

Will my insurance still cover my dental treatment?

Yes. Many plans pay out-of-network benefits at the same coverage percentages as in-network benefits, though the amount Delta allows for each procedure may be lower. If you'd like, we'll file a pre-treatment estimate on your behalf so you know upfront how your treatment may be covered. Dental insurance isn't designed to cover all of your needs, whether your dentist is in network or not.

Will you still submit claims to my insurance?

Yes. Just as we do now, we'll submit claims on your behalf, follow up on them, and file appeals when necessary to help you receive the maximum reimbursement your plan allows.

Will anything change with how payments are handled?

Yes. Starting on your plan's out-of-network date, you'll pay the full cost of your treatment at the time of your appointment, not just your estimated share. We'll submit the claim to Delta Dental for you, and Delta will mail a reimbursement check directly to you for the portion your plan covers.

Will my treatment costs change?

For some plans, the cost of your visit may not change. For others, it may be higher. We are committed to working with you and advocating for you to minimize any financial impact. Please check out our financing options to learn more.

Do you offer financing?

Yes. We offer financing through Cherry and Proceed Finance, so you can get the care you need now and pay over time. Please check out our financing options to learn more.

What if my plan doesn't cover out-of-network care?

Our Zwellness® membership plan may be a better fit. It's designed so you can focus on your health, not on what insurance will or won't cover. Because it isn't insurance, there's no fine print to navigate, just one simple membership that includes your preventive care and saves you money on everything else.

‍- Your preventive care, included: routine cleanings, exams, X-rays, and fluoride at no additional cost
- 15% off all other care, or 20% for seniors
- No yearly maximum, no waiting periods, no claim forms
- No insurance rules
deciding when or how often you can get care

Zwellness can't be combined with any insurance plan. Learn more about Zwellness.
